Noiark Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates Bldera (the "App"), a mobile application designed to power the next era of construction workforce management. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using Bldera, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Personal Information:
Email address and password (for account authentication).
User ID, display name, and role (e.g., foreman or admin).
Workforce Data:
Timesheet information (e.g., clock-in/out records).
Images uploaded via the App’s camera access for timesheets, projects, and material orders.
Location Data:
Geolocation (latitude/longitude) collected only during clock-in state for worker geofencing.
Device Information:
Technical data such as device type, operating system, IP address, and camera metadata (collected during API requests or uploads).
Usage Data:
App interactions, such as login attempts, navigation, and feature usage (to enhance functionality).
2. How We Collect Information
Directly from You: When you sign up, log in, submit timesheets, or upload images.
Via Device Permissions:
Location data during clock-in, with your consent.
Camera access, only when you choose to upload images.
Automatically: Through device data and secure API interactions when using the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Authenticate accounts and provide App features.
Manage timesheets, track worker locations during clock-in for geofencing, and process material orders.
Enable image uploads for project documentation and timesheet verification.
Optimize App performance and user experience.
Ensure security and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
Service Providers: Our hosting provider (e.g., Heroku) for secure data storage and processing.
Legal Authorities: If required by law, to enforce our rights, or protect user safety.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice to you).
5. Data Storage and Security
Storage: Data is stored locally on your device using SecureStore with encryption and on our secure servers.
Transmission: All data is transmitted via HTTPS with TLS encryption.
Tokens: Authentication tokens are encrypted and securely managed.
Security Measures: We implement industry-leading safeguards (e.g., encryption, access controls), though no system is fully immune to breaches.
6. Device Permissions
Location: We track your geolocation only during clock-in state to support geofencing of workers. This stops when you clock out.
Camera: We access your phone’s camera only when you upload images for timesheets, projects, or material orders. We do not store or access other camera data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may:
Access, correct, or delete your data (subject to legal retention needs).
Opt out of location tracking (disabling may limit geofencing features).
Request a data portability report.

8. Third-Party Services
The App uses an API hosted on Heroku. Their privacy practices apply to data processed on their platform (see Heroku Privacy).
No other third-party analytics or advertising services are currently integrated.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal and workforce data only as long as necessary for App functionality, legal compliance, or account activity (e.g., active employment). Inactive accounts may be deleted after 2 years, unless legally required otherwise.
10. International Data Transfers
If you use Bldera outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to our U.S.-based servers, secured per this policy and applicable laws.
11. Children’s Privacy
Bldera is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe we have such data.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect App changes or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will include in-App notice where feasible.
